Questionsanswered softly
Before you write
What is the difference between digital and painted?
A digital portrait is painted by hand on screen and delivered as a print-ready file; add a gilt frame print to receive it framed. A traditional painting is a physical original. Artist’s choice · oil / acrylic / gouache / watercolor.
What photos should I send of my pet?
Three or four clear photos in daylight, taken at their eye level, plus one that shows their personality. For memorial portraits, send what you have; we will make it work together.
Can the two of us be painted from separate photos?
Yes. Send a clear photo of each of you and I compose you together under one light.
Can I have an original character painted?
Yes, as an Individual Portrait from your reference sheet. Add the commercial-use licence if it will appear on merchandise or streams.
How far will you travel for live painting?
Within 30 miles is included. Further afield is welcome: mileage, and lodging for longer journeys, are quoted with your date.
How is a mural priced?
By square foot and detail, from USD 45 to 85, with a minimum of USD 4,500 for homes and USD 8,000 for commercial spaces. Lifts, scaffolding or special coatings are quoted separately.
Can I change things after design approval?
Small touches, yes. Changes to pose, figures, setting or a mural design after approval are quoted separately, because painting has begun.
Can it arrive by a date?
Add gift-ready by your date. Book four weeks ahead for digital and ten for painted; mention the date in your inquiry.
