The promises on both sides, for portraits, live evenings, murals and the shop. Your written offer from Nathalie is the final word for your piece.

Portraits

Offer: Every commission begins with a written offer and invoice sent by Nathalie herself. Prices are in USD.
Payment: Digital portraits are paid in full to book. Painted portraits: 50% holds the slot, the balance is due at design approval, before painting begins.
Design approval: Digital portraits include two rounds of changes at the composition stage and one colour adjustment; painted portraits include two rounds at the composition stage. After design approval the design is set.
Medium: Traditional paintings: Artist’s choice · oil / acrylic / gouache / watercolor. Digital portraits are painted digitally by hand and delivered as a high-resolution file.
Changes of heart: The deposit is refundable until the composition is started. After that it covers the design work already done.
Rights: Copyright remains with the artist. Personal-use rights come with every commission; commercial use needs a licence.
Shipping: Painted originals and frame prints ship flat, protected and tracked. Shipping is quoted on the invoice; buyers outside the US pay duties or VAT.

Terms

Booking: A 50% deposit holds your date; the balance is due 14 days before the event. Rate: from USD 1,800 for up to 3 hours, USD 300 per additional hour.
Travel: Included within 30 miles. Beyond that, mileage and, for longer journeys, lodging are quoted with your date.
At the venue: A covered space of about 6 × 6 ft near the moment you want painted, with good light. Nathalie brings drop cloths and her own easel.
Finish: The painting is finished in the studio within 2–4 weeks and delivered or shipped.
Postponement: One date change is welcome if the new date is free; the deposit moves with it.

Terms

Site visit: USD 250 locally, credited to the project if you go ahead; travel beyond the local area is quoted.
Pricing: USD 45–85 per sq ft by detail and access. Minimums: USD 4,500 for homes, USD 8,000 for offices, hotels and restaurants. Lifts, scaffolding, wall repair and special coatings are quoted separately.
Design approval: A scaled concept and colour study, with two rounds of changes. Painting follows the approved design; new ideas after approval are quoted as changes.
Payment: 50% on signing, 25% when painting begins, 25% on completion.
Care: Mural-grade acrylic, sealed with a protective clear coat. Care notes are provided on completion.

Terms

Orders: Shop requests are answered with an invoice; items are held three days once invoiced and ship in one to five days, tracked.
Returns: Unused shop items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Commissions and personalised items are made for you and are not returnable.
Privacy: Your inquiry is read only by Nathalie at artwithnathalie@gmail.com and is used to reply to you. Photos you send are used only for your commission. Finished work is shared in the gallery only if you allow it.
